An Englishman's account of the state based on a visit in the summer of 1877 and on published sources with naught but good to say. The little (7 x 8 inches) folding map has detail sufficient to the purpose here, but shows almost no settlement east of the Cascades. An interesting European emigrant guide. Item #23128
