The North-Americans of Yesterday.
NY: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1901. xxvi, 487pp, illus. Decorative boards. Perhaps some darkening to the external cloth, else clean and near fine. The extended title continues, "A Comparative Study of North-American Indian Life Customs, and Products, on the Theory of the Ethnic Unity of the Race." Dellenbaugh seems to have relied primarily on secondary sources for his study. But good ones; he cites the publications of the Bureau of American Ethnology, Parkman, Bandelier, Schoolcraft, and Bancroft among other scholars. Item #21849
