Report of the Governor of New Mexico - 1906.

Washington: Government Printing Office, 1906. 108pp, folding map. Limp leather binding. Spine faded, law library stamp on ffep, else clean and very good. Map crisp and bright with a short repaired tear at the gutter. The reports of the territorial governors are a combination of departmental reports, statistical summaries and emigrant promotions. This one has information on New Mexico agriculture, rail roads, mining, governmental services, and development in the late territorial period. The brightly colored folding map is large enough (22 x 18 inches) to allow for considerable detail. It is the 1903 map with Leonard Wood County in place of Guadalupe county, a place name that appeared in this year only, a result of a hustle over the moving of the county seat. Item #20629
