The Rasp.
Fort Riley, Kansas: The Cavalry School, Army of the United States, 1922. 272pp, illus. Original decorative boards, minor wear to extremities, else very good. This issue is still very much a school yearbook, although somewhat more polished than the volume from the preceeding year. Again, there are many photos. There are several articles on such diverse topics as histories of the classes, courses of instruction, camp activities, and "Polo in the Army." In one, Colonel Hamilton S. Hawkins opines that cavalry will always be indispensable to the Army, and that motorized vehicles only increase the value of mounted forces. Item #20244
