The Hundredth Book; A Bibliography of the Publications of the Book Club of California and a History of the Club.

np (San Francisco): Grabhorn Press, 1958. xxiii, 80pp, illus. Folio. Some age toning else near fine. 1 of 400 printed by the Grabhorn Press. Tan linen spine, paper label and decorated boards. The Book Club of California was created in 1912 to promote fine printing and the arts in the state. One of its major activities was publishing limited edition, fine press books and miscellanea. This is a history of the club and a bibliography of its publications, being - you guessed it, the one hundredth book. It gives full bibliographical descriptions along with narrative annotations, and there is a listing of the Club's keepsakes and ephemera. A handsome production. Item #1760
