Second edition (having the same date and collation as the first, ex-library stamps on half title and title pages, rebound in tan cloth with gilt titles and new endpapers, very good. Campion was an English gentleman and this is his account of a sporting trip across Kansas, Colorado, Utah and Arizona in the early 1870's. In addition to doing much hunting, the party encountered Ute, Cheyenne and Mojave Indians and there are several chapters on the Apache. Howes C105. Item #12798
