This is a history of the club and a bibliography of its publications, being - you guessed it, the one hundredth book. It gives full bibliographical descriptions along with narrative annotations, and there is a listing of the Club's keepsakes and ephemera. A handsome production.

This a limited, hardbound edition of a catalogue of books and ephemera offered for sale in 1975 by the late Fred White, Jr. The Nichols collection was primarily a "Custer" collection, supplemented by a few other books on the clashes between Indians and the Army in the American West. The catalogue was compiled by Bill Reese and has an introduction by noted Custer scholar John M. Carroll. In the Introduction Carroll calls the collection "stunning." There are more than 1,000 items listed, many with annotations. A useful reference of Custer or Indian war material. Limited to only 100 copies, this edition is signed by Reese, Carroll, White, and the catalogue’s designer, Michael J. Koury of the Old Army Press. Also available is the trade edition.
