All with light soil and wear, else near fine. Ray Fadden (1910-2005) was a Mohawk educator who was passionately involved in the preservation of Iroquois culture as early as the 1940's. He founded numerous Iroquois heritage programs, including establishing the Six Nations Indian Museum with his own resources on family land, and published more than two dozen pamphlets under the name Aren Akweks. Each of these pamphlets deals with some aspect of the history, culture and legends of the Six Nations Iroquois Confederacy combining text and pictographs to tell a traditional story. The titles include, The Formation of the Ho-de-no-sau-ne or League of the Five Nations (28pp), The Gift of the Great Spirit (12pp), Sa-ko-ri-on-nie-ni, Our Great Teacher (28pp), The Seven Dancers (8pp), The Great Gift, Tobacco (8pp), The Story of the Monster Bear, the Great Dipper (8pp), Why We Have Mosquitoes (8pp).
