Prince (1840-1922) in addition to serving as territorial governor and delegate to congress, was a long time president of the New Mexico Historical Society. This brief history is directed at students and the general reader, and Prince credits Twitchell and Read for making lengthy histories available. Information on the Lincoln County War and Billy the Kid qualify it for a reference in Adams' bibliography. Adams 6-Guns 1771.
