Campion was an English gentleman and this is his account of a sporting trip across Kansas, Colorado, Utah and Arizona in the early 1870's. In addition to doing much hunting, the party encountered Ute, Cheyenne and Mojave Indians and there are several chapters on the Apache. Howes C105.
